My 9th grade (1966-67 school year) in San Antonio proved to be the happiest of my childhood. I was liked by everyone and performed well. This photo shows my three first place ribbons in chess, extemporaneous speech, and science regional championships. NIH Physician Training

Colombian Award

Bucaramanga Lecture
1992: Programa ICFES BID Award. ICFES is Instituto Colombiano para la Evaluacion de la Educacion from Banco Interamericano de Desenvolvimento which means Colombian Institute for the Evaluation of Education from Inter-American Development Bank.
